QPR - Train the Trainer - for Suicide Prevention Course

 Description

QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) Train the Trainer for Suicide Prevention teaches three simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.  Trainers are those who are strategically positioned to educate individuals to recognize and refer someone at risk of suicide.  QPR Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention is listed on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices and the Best Practices Registry for Suicide Prevention.  Upon completion of the training, trainers’ certification includes a 3-year Certification, 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), 25 QPR classroom booklets and everything you’ll need to host your first training workshop.

Becoming a certified trainer of QPR’s industry-leading approach to suicide prevention is an excellent way for individuals and organizations to help empower their communities to effectively intervene on behalf of suicidal and in-crisis people.
