Hello Everyone!
No Strings Theatre would like to invite you to be a part of our musical theatre performance presentation with the Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra on February 12. We have been invited to be a part of their Family Concert this season. This unique opportunity will be a teaser to our summer music theatre intensive and give the audience a sampler presenting 'Show Off' from the hit musical The Drowsy Chaperone which we will be presenting this summer.
No Strings Theatre is thrilled to offer to our students and/or followers this free performance opportunity with one of the GTA's most prolific orchestras!
There will be an open casting session for all NST's age categories (10 - 35) for all parts this coming Sunday January 15th, from
2 - 3:30 pm. We will ask for just 16 bars of a song selection (preferably music theatre) or something that shows your character.
Soloists and featured roles are available!
Rehearsals with music director and choreographer, Jill Filion (Sheridan College, music theatre department), will take place on Sundays Jan 22, 29, Feb 5 from approximately 2-5 pm (or 2:30-4:30 pm) , a dress rehearsal with the orchestra on Wednesday February 8th in the evening, and the final presentation, Sunday February 12, at 1 pm.
