"Got Forgiveness?" In a recent sermon, Mother Sarah invited us all to read, pray about, and experiment with Dr. Fred Luskin's Nine Step Process of Forgiveness, using his approach (derived from Stanford Forgiveness Project's research) to explore a situation, relationship, or memory from our lives ripe for experiencing the healing power of God's love, leading us toward forgiveness. Find the steps here: www.greatergood.berkeley.edu. Mother Sarah welcomes feedback about how Joseph's forgiveness journey (found in the Bible, in Genesis chapters 37-45) and Dr. Luskin's process have helped you discover anew God's love at work in your life!

Word for the Week ~ Persistence Persistent prayer is not about knocking on the door of God's heart so much that in the end God gets fed up and answers our prayer. Persistent prayer is so honored throughout Scripture because it reflects a deep desire and passion - it so often comes from a place of great love.
