Local Youth Need You!
Support the Boys & Girls Club and give the kids and teens of La Plata County a gift of great opportunities, positive role models and a safe, fun place to go.
The Club serves over 1,000 youth annually. Our membership fee, just $15 a year, is intentionally kept low so that all youth can afford to belong and receive life enhancing programs that foster academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character and citizenship.
New Tax Credit!
The Boys & Girls Club is registered with the Colorado Secretary of State and donations are tax deductible. In addition, the Club is now able to offer an additional tax credit for your contribution for Colorado donors. Monetary donations of $250 or more will be issued a Child Care Contribution Tax Credit. This credit is valued at 40.5% of your donation.
For example, a donation of the following amount would result in the usual tax deduction, and an
additional credit.
A donation of .....
- $250= $101.25 tax credit
- $500=$202.50 tax credit
- $1,000=$405 tax credit
We encourage you to talk to your tax accountant for more details. Make your donation before midnight on December 31st to take advantage of this credit in 2016.
