Save the Dates: Join Us for these Upcoming ELUM Events

ELAM is holding several upcoming events for ELUMs. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us!
  • First up - the ELUM reception at the Association for American Medical College's (AAMC) Group on Faculty Affairs (GFA) meeting. If you are attending the GFA meeting, there is still time to plan to join us tomorrow, July 28 for an early evening reception with ELAM Executive Director Nancy Spector and ELAM co-founder Roz Richman, along with your colleagues in Faculty Affairs, including fellow ELUMs and current ELAM Fellows. We're extending this year's invitation to non-ELUM Faculty Affairs colleagues to bring their supportive voices to our conversation on using Faculty Affairs offices in identifying and nominating strong candidates and to further supporting ELUMs post-graduation. Hors d'hoeuvres, wine, and soft drinks will be served to tide you over until (or instead of) dinner. For more information and to RSVP, please visit the event page.

  • Next is the ELUM reception held in conjunction with the AAMC annual meeting in Boston, on Sunday, November 5 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. This event is an excellent opportunity to both meet new ELUMs and reconnect with old friends. Keep an eye on your email inbox and the ELAM Edge for more details and RSVP information as the date approaches.

  • And finally - mark your calendars now for the 2018 ELUM Professional Development event being held this year in Denver January 11 - 13! This year's theme is Leadership During Challenging Times: Building Resilience and Versatility, and it is promising to be informative, enriching, and empowering. Keep an eye on your email inbox and the ELAM Edge for more information as the date approaches.

We hope to see you all soon!
