TONIGHT, August 18, 7:00 p.m.
     Michael Moore's film " Where to Invade Next?" contains great ideas from other countries to help our world.
Join us in Fellowship Hall on Friday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. to view the film and discuss it afterward. No childcare for this event. This event is free. Those under age 17 may view this Rated R film if accompanied by parent or adult guardian.

     Join Rev. Barbara Child in reflecting on the treasures found in dreams, as our choir sings of being still and learning how to live and practice love.
This Week in Religious Education
This Sunday, Religious Education continues their journey through Kenya. Kids of all ages will explore our theme of wonder as they rotate through music, art, or visit with our International Outreach Task Force. 9:15 preschoolers will trying their hands at weaving. 11:15 preschoolers will be in their spirit play class hearing a true Kenyan story,  Owen and Mzee , a tale of unusual friendship. Middle school youth group is on summer hiatus. High school youth group begins this Sunday, August 20th at 12:30 in Room 210.
2017-2018 Religious Education Registration
     We sincerely need families to register their children and youth for Religious Education. You can register online quickly and easily. We will be upstairs in Room 203 today: Sunday, August 20th.      Would you like to get to know more people in our church community in a relaxed, intimate setting? In October the first Fellowship Dinners will take place. These are small monthly dinners held October through April in the homes of those belonging to the group or in other congenial locations.  You don't have to be a church member to take part. Hope & Strength: A Singalong Concert August 23
Join us for a heartwarming evening of singing along with Annie Patterson and Peter Blood, the creators of the popular folk song collection Rise Up Singing,  Wednesday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m.  in Fellowship Hall. This event is hosted by our Music Program and the Music Committee of the Bloomington Friends Meeting. Adults $10-$15, Students $5, under 18 free.
Earth Kin Book Discussion Group on Monday, August 28
Earth Kin will host a book discussion group on  "Wisdom of the Elements" by Margie McArthur and working with the four elements/wheel of the year. Join them in Room 210 on Monday, August 28, 7-9 p.m. If you would like a PDF copy of the reading, please email Brooke Opel at bopel88@gmail.com.
