New Year, New Look
January is a great time to turn over a new leaf. Here at Outermost Community Radio, we've accepted the challenge to emphasize our strengths and address our weaknesses. While you won't see any major changes, we hope to get even better at delivering the sort of locally based, community minded programming that you've come to expect from us over the years.
Radio Free America

Did you know that you can listen to all of our shows after they air? Thanks to our partners at Radio Free America, the archive of our stream is available for two weeks from the original broadcast. It's a great way to catch up with your favorite DJ even if you can't listen when they're on live.

Mellifluous Melodies

We are your best source for music on Cape Cod and beyond. Our volunteers bring their passion every time they're on the air. Some of our newest DJs include Stu Murray and Steve Shervanian. Stu presents Bebop And Beyond on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 9pm to midnight, while Steve shares his expertise of the Big Band era on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 9am to noon. Just a couple more examples of the kind of music you won't hear anywhere else on your dial.

Sparkling Spoken Word

You can count on interesting and informative programs every weekday at 9am and 12:30pm. Ira Wood, Susan Lindquist, Pandora Peoples, Paula Sperry and many others interview guests on topics including health and spirituality, the arts, economic development, politics and even comedy. We're thrilled to welcome Jeannette de Beauvoir back to the Arts Week program Thursdays at 12:30. Outer Cape News comes your way every Friday at 12:30 with the headlines from the Banner and the Cape Codder plus Weather Will and a Matter of Opinion from Ira.

Reel Film Series

Brad Moore always presents a metaphorical feast for the film buff. This week's showing will include an actual feast as Will Heron serves up his paella prior to the showing of Blood And Sand starring Rudolf Valentino with accompaniment by a live band. Festive! Food at 7:30, film at 8pm on Thursday, January 12.

Later this month, Brad shows the Thief of Baghdad on the 19th and The Last Command on the 26th. Real movies on reel film at 7:30 in the Davis Space at 494 Commercial Street in Provincetown.
