Dear Parents,

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! We are excited to begin what promises to be an amazing year, and we're especially excited to welcome all new students and their families to Chapelle!

We are coming off of the heels of a busy summer, complete with a successful Summer Camp and Summer Enrichment program. Many of our athletic teams and extracurricular groups participated in workshops, camps, and competitions to prepare for the upcoming year. Our campus has undergone several renovations, including a new HVAC system in the main building and new carpet and paint downstairs in the English building. Our new gym roof is nearing completion, and we're in the process of installing a new key-card system to ensure campus security. We invite you to stop-in to see our improvements!

As we enter this school year, we are continuing to make strides to help your daughters grow spiritually, academically, and socially. Our campus ministry program is off to a great start and we are pleased to welcome our new chaplain, Fr. Ian Bozant. Fr. Ian has made a profound impression on both faculty and students in his first days with us, and we are looking forward to experiencing his spiritual leadership through our many campus ministry activities this year. Our academic program, under the leadership of Mrs. Susan Panzavecchia '90, is thriving as we partner with curriculum specialists from Those Who Can Solutions, who will be providing ongoing professional development throughout the year. Together, we are working towards fully integrating ACT based standards across all disciplines, as we strive to help each student reach her God given potential.

As I've walked the halls this week, I see that our students are eager to get back into school mode and I've been happy to see so many smiling faces! Our newest chipmunks seem to be adjusting well, but if there is anything we can do to make the transition easier for your daughter or your family, please do not hesitate to reach out. It is my prayer that you will find your second home here at Chapelle.

We hope to see everyone at Back to School Night on August 22!

Prayer of Archbishop Chapelle High School
Written by the Class of 2014

Heavenly Father,
We praise and thank you for blessing us with our Chapelle family and the memories made on this campus. As we walk these halls, let us remember our faculty, our sisters who came before us, and those who will come after. We pray for patience in our actions, kindness in our words, and selflessness in our hearts. May we live out our mission as we continue to grow in unity, making Chapelle not only a school, but also our home.

Amen.

Welcome to our new Chaplain, Father Ian Bozant!

8th Grade Inductions

"At all times, and in all places, you are a member of and represent this family. With this pin--you are now officially a chipmunk!" - Katie Robinson, Dean of Students

Congratulations to the class of 2022 on being inducted into the Chapelle family! Our seniors started a beautiful new tradition this year--the 8th graders were "pinned" by their Big Sisters after the induction mass, emphasizing how their legacy lives on through our 8th graders.

More photos of 8th Grade Inductions will be uploaded to SmugMug this month!

New Student Orientation

Our newest Chipmunks enjoyed an awesome new student orientation on Friday, August 11. Hosted by the Student Council and Ambassadors, new students learned chants and cheers, and saw performances by the Chapellettes, Hi-Steppers, and Cheerleaders. Students ran through a full day's class schedule, and our 8th Graders met their Big Sisters!
