NO SCHOOL REMINDER

Reminder there will be NO SCHOOL or PRESCHOOL on Monday, August 21st due to events for Eclipse happening around our campus.

Our New Staff

Please join us in welcoming Brittney Massman, Heather Lee, and Cindy Hasty to our teaching team. Brittney will be teaching Preschool , Heather is Art and Cindy is Fifth Grade. Also welcome Carrie Hayes to our office staff, Carrie is administrative asst. here on Wed,Thurs,& Fri. We are excited to have them join our school family!

Scrip/Fundraising

Welcome back everyone. I hope all of you had a wonderful summer. Scrip will resume on Tuesday, August 22. The following businesses are changes to the program.

Payless Shoes has been discontinued as they filed for bankruptcy.

Walgreens is temporarily unavailable as they do not have any gift cards to send to Great Lakes. They should be available soon.

Hyatt Hotel gift cards have been discontinued.

Wal-mart is now available in $50.

Domino's Pizza is available in $25.

Sephora is now available on $25.

JC Pizza (Pizza Haus on McCarty) has closed.

Aluminum Can Drive

We participate in a recycling program once a month for aluminum can's . We have a parent, Angela Hull, who is wonderful to volunteer her time to take the cans to recycle. She does need a parent to help with gathering and taking to recycle on the 2nd Thursday of each month. If you are interested in helping please call the school office for details. As a reminder the can recycle day is on the school calendar. The drop off is every 2nd Thursday from 7:00 to 7:45 am. We appreciate your support !

Cafeteria Information

We have added parent lunch day L-R to the school calendar Parent Lunch Reservation, March 5, 2018 and Parent Lunch, March 15, 2018.

Reminder the cafeteria will be offering a la cart items to purchase for students to have additional food. If they purchase additional items a bill will be sent home to you via the youngest child each month.

St. Peter School Cafeteria is looking for a part time employee Monday-Wednesday from 10:30 to 1:15.

Duties would include dish washing, salad bar, serving lunch. A love of children and an energetic attitude would be helpful.... great job for a retiree or grandparent. If interested please call 573-636-8922 ext. 338 or Debbie Schrimpf 573-680-2669.

St. Peter Cafeteria is also looking for volunteer grandparents to serve lunch on an as needed basis. Duties would include lunch serving only. Please call the phone numbers above if interested.

Virtus Training

Studies show that one in four females, and one in six males, will be a victim of sexual abuse by the time they reach the age of 18. You can help prevent this from happening.
The Diocese of Jefferson City will provide many opportunities to attend a VIRTUS(R) Protecting God's Children class in. Please go to Virtus.org,click on live training,then click sign up for live training class, to sign up for any of the classes listed below.

Active parishioners' status is fulfilled by:

Registered in the parish
Regularly participating in Mass and the Sacraments
Annually completing the Stewardship/ Time, Talent & Treasure form
Supporting the Parish financially

These requirements must be met for you to remain a non tuition family.
