The nomination period for the 2017 Federation Board of Directors elections will begin later this month. General Assembly representatives will be notified by email, and others can expect to see more details in next month's Communiqué newsletter.

Canada Prizes jury announcement
The Federation is pleased to announce the
jury members for the 2017 Canada Prizes. Finalists will be announced this spring, and the winners will be celebrated at a special awards ceremony at Congress 2017 at Ryerson University.

Students from University of Regina's Faculty of Education have been volunteering to teach one-on-one English-language classes to refugee women. This rewarding program has allowed new Canadians to learn reading and writing skills and education students to gain valuable teaching experience. Find out about the program
