Dr. Blum is coming to University of Western States, Portland, Oregon, January 21, 2017 to teach SOT Extremity Technique, Aside from being an active SOT clinical practitioner for over three decades, he has over 35 years of experience teaching SOT as well as has authored well over 100 research articles relating to SOT, cranial techniques, and CMRT care.

The SOT Extremity Technique seminar is the final seminar in the SOT Certification Series and many doctors and students have requested that we have this seminar to complete their certification process.  This seminar is not given as frequently as the others so please make sure you take advantage of this opportunity.

DeJarnette found a specific extremity related whole body kinematic distortion pattern that that had its own pattern of assessment and treatment. It involves specific extremity joint analysis and sequence of treatments. SOT Extremity Technique is an effect tool to use with upper and lower extremity disorders that are not improved with chiropractic spinal care . The SOT Extremity Distortion Pattern focuses on the feet, ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, and atlas/axis. Also integrated within this SOT Extremity Technique course will be Dr. Ray Zindler's upper and lower extremity assessment and treatment methodologies. No prerequisite.

Dr. Blum is adjunct research faculty at Cleveland Chiropractic College and associate faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences, teaching TMD Dental Chiropractic Co-Treatment and Sacro Occipital Technique. Dr. Blum teaches also the Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) elective class at Palmer College of Chiropractic West.  Dr. Blum is a Certified Sacro Occipital Technique Cranial Practitioner, and is on the peer review boards of the Journal of Craniomandibular Practice (CRANIO), Association of Chiropractic College Conferences, and Journal of Chiropractic Medicine.  Dr. Blum has been active treating sports related injuries since 1980.
