USA Today Features Panama City Restaurants |
|
Three of Panama City's restaurants were recently featured in a USA Today article, "150 Thanksgiving flavors to savor." The restaurants were highlighted for their creative culinary approach to traditional Thanksgiving ingredients. The Place in the Harrison Historic Downtown was covered not once, but twice in the article for their innovative turkey pizza with cranberries and stuffing, and for their turkey and cranberry quesadilla served with a side of gravy. Tom's Hot Dogs, also in Harrison, received a nod for their turkey dog with cranberry bacon jam, sautéed onions, and cranberry mayo. g. Foley's purple sweet potato pie with Sweet Grass Dairy Lil' Moo cheese, cane syrup, a salted caramel sauce and a candied pecan crumble also made the cut.
