The ‘Canadian Alliance’ is part of a growing international network of ecosystems pioneered by the European Connected Health Alliance viewed here. The Alliance is a powerful force for change that now encompasses regional ecosystems in 40 countries; supported by 500+ organizations and 16,000 individual members. The ecosystems across Europe, China and the US are:

- promoting exchange of ideas, lessons learned and opportunities
- providing leadership to implement strategic priorities
- supporting patient centric programs for better health and quality of life
- generating revenues for members and reducing costs for health systems
