There are 9 committees that you may offer service to:
*Best Practices Working Group
This committee keeps the Association's "Best Practices from Showing to Closing" form up to date by editing practices that are necessary to facilitate more successful closings.
*NEW! Communications Committee
Calling all social media stars, graphic designers, and real estate bloggers! Members of this committee will actively engage in all aspects of the Association's multi-media marketing campaigns and event promotions including photography, video production and journalism.
*Community Outreach
Let's
enhance the image of REALTORS® in the Jackson Metro area! You'll help us identify and organize outreach activities and other volunteer efforts that your fellow REALTORS
® would like to participate in.
*Credentials Committee
Members will review REALTOR
® membership applications to ensure compliance with NAR's criteria for subsequent approval by the CMR Board of Directors.
*Governmental Affairs & Advocacy
Do you have an interest in local government or politics? Members of the committee will give the Association a voice in local policy issues that impact our real estate market and aid in the selection of candidates for RPAC support.
*Grievance Committee
This committee reviews and investigates complaints against members as well as arbitration requests filed with the Association. When appropriate, it refers them to the Professional Standards Committee for a hearing.
*MLS Systems & Products

esearch updates and available enhancements to the current MLS system for ways to increase value
to MLS Participants.
*MLS Rules & Policies
R
eview and update MLS Rules and Regulations, including the violation and fine structures, and compliance of same.
*Young Professionals Network
We are seeking 40 and under REALTORS® interested in networking and implementing community involvement initiatives planned by the YPN Advisory Panel.
Interest forms are due by Friday, December 15.
Final appointments will be made and announced by President Rod Crosby no later than December 29.
