WHAT IS YOUR STORY?
The Clear Creek Community Council of PTA's held its annual Reflections Reception at the CCISD Challenger Columbia Stadium Field House. This year's theme of "What is Your Story?" included original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. The League City Intermediate Chamber Orchestra provided the entertainment for the night.

VEX CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to three CCISD VEX Robotics teams who  won the Space City Vex 2.0 Regional Robotics tournament in Pasadena.  The three teams are qualified for the South Texas Champs State Championship competition next month and the U.S. Open Robotics Championship in April .
MCWHIRTER VOLUNTEERS
Student leaders from McWhirter Elementary recently spent the afternoon learning and volunteering at Dress for Success Houston. This non-profit organization provides a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women in work and life.
CLEAR FALLS CADET EARNS TOP RANKING
Cadet Blacksmith from the Clear Falls High School Mighty Knights JROTC program was promoted to the rank of Cadet Colonel last week. There is only one Cadet Colonel in the CCISD Brigade which is earned through a vigorous competition between all high school JROTC cadets in CCISD. Blacksmith now holds the position of Cadet Brigade Commander in CCISD and will have the responsibility of leading the 500-plus cadets through several ceremonies and events held this semester. Superintendent Dr. Greg Smith and Blacksmith's parents attended a special pinning ceremony held at the CCISD Education Support Center.
