|
The 2017 OML Annual Conference will be here before you know it. We would like to get your perspective on what your overall experience at conference was and what topics or session tracks would be of interest to you this year.
Feel free to share this survey with all members of your governing board and any other municipal officials in your town, as well as staff - we would like input from as many of our members as possible! Please

OML Board District 6 Call For Nominations: Deadline February 20th
|
The OML District 6 Board seat has become open as of January 1 due to the resignation of John Fothergill. Nominations will be received until Monday, February 20, 2017 and will be presented to the OML board of directors at their next meeting. Any municipal official of any of the District 6 OML member municipalities that is interested in this position should submit a letter of interest, resume and a resolution from your municipality supporting your nomination to the OML offices, 201 NE 23rd Street, Attention: Nancee Morris to be received no later than Monday, February 20, 2017.

The Oklahoma Municipal League is proud to announce a new and exciting partnership with the University of Oklahoma's Institute for Quality Communities (IQC). IQC is a community outreach program in the OU College of Architecture providing learning opportunities for students and assisting communities who are working to reshape their cities and towns. Through the generous support of our sponsors, OG&E, Phillips 66, OneOK and PSO, the League will be offering grants to our members to assist with funding projects selected by IQC. Applications will be taken this spring for those interested.

25 Year Awards Presented to Muldrow Employees

OML is honored to recognize individuals that have served their communities for 25 years or more with steadfast dedication and commitment. OML board member and Stonewall Town Administrator Dennis Heath had the privilege of presenting these two special awards for Muldrow on Thursday January 12 to Town Administrator David M. Taylor who has completed 29 years of service and Clerk and Treasurer Larry W. Edwards who has completed nearly 40 years of service.
