TRIBUTE TO MRS. KLEINER, A"H
In tribute to Mrs. Kleiner, A"H, a beloved Bais Yaakov teacher, Mrs. Horowitz spoke to the school about Mrs. Kleiner's tremendous ability to see the good in everything. Mrs. Kleiner preformed many great chassodim for everyone and truly loved every single person. High School student Chava Glickstein also gave a moving speech about the extreme kindness Mrs. Kleiner showed her when she switched to Bais Yaakov last year. Mrs. Kleiner was an incredibly selfless person. She is sorely missed by the Baltimore community and Bais Yaakov.

MISHMERES BREAKOUT
The Mishmeres program broke out their theme, "Polishing Our Speech with Mishmeres." They also showed an inspiring video about the butterfly effect on our speech.
RABBI ELAN
Rabbi Yoav Elan, a contributor to ArtScroll, came to speak to the 9th Grade. The students are learning about the first Bais Hamikdash, and Rabbi Elan showed them a presentation about what the Bais Hamikdash and the keilim (vessels) looked like. The 9th Graders were fascinated to see the diagrams and some 3D printed models relating to what they are learning in Navi.
GOVERNOR HOGAN VISITS BAIS YAAKOV
JEWISH HISTORY IN A FLASH
Rabbi Ronnie Halibard, a historian, came and presented a fast paced, exciting multimedia lecture entitled "Jewish History in a Flash" to the 9th and 10th Grades. The students found him both amusing and informative, as he gave them hints to make it easier to remember dates and time periods.
