#TakeoverTuesday Tackles Food Insecurity
The Fullerton College Instagram account will be taken over by students on Tuesday, Dec. 12 to help spread the word about food insecurity. After discovering that the issue of food insecurity is a much bigger problem than many are aware of, students in Professor Miguel Powers' Honors English 103 class focused their efforts this semester on a project that can generate awareness about the issue and affect change in the community. Tomorrow, the class will take over the Fullerton College Instagram account to showcase their campus-wide efforts to highlight the issue, share how students can help, and spotlight the services provided to students by the college's food bank. Keep an eye out for the hashtag #TakeoverTuesday!
