January 2017
Rachelle A. Martin
Greetings,

We begin 2017 excited about our work and the role NAMI Franklin County plays in improving the lives of people living with a mental illness, their family members and caregivers.

We hope you will share your thoughts and suggestions about our classes and support groups throughout the year.  The sessions are always free. Last year we saw a dramatic increase in participation. We know that friends and family members are finding help and support through these sessions!

We are also excited about our new initiative, Out of the Shadows, an outreach into the faith community to bring mental illness out of the shadows. We'll be working with local faith leaders on ways they can assist their congregants and help reduce the stigma around mental illness.  Stay tuned for details.

All the best,
Rachelle A. Martin, Executive Director
