ABHMS is taking first steps in its new aligned action network mission strategy, having recently welcomed old and new partners to informative introductory meetings in
Brookfield, Wis.; Philadelphia; and
Atlanta.
ABHMS continues its gun violence prevention advocacy by publishing an
article in The Christian Citizen magazine online and signing a Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence
letter to Congress.
At its November
meeting, ABHMS' board saluted six retiring members, welcomed four new members and elected a fifth. Aligned action networks and One Great Hour of Sharing grants were discussed.
This month marks one year that The Christian Citizen magazine has gone digital, offering a convenient way to access insightful stories about living out faith in our contemporary world.
