Donald Eugene Ebert, 92, of Wadsworth passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He was born February 5, 1925, in Wadsworth to the late Lloyd and MaryEbert.
Mr. Ebert was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1943, proudly served in the
U.S. Navy during
World War II on the LST 498 and was a retired machinist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Ebert and brothers, Bobby and Maynard Ebert.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Karen (Jim) Bunnelle of Blue Ridge, Ga. and Carol Ebert of Wadsworth; he is also survived by two grandsons, Joshua Bunnelle of Seattle, Wash. and Joseph Bunnelle of Woodstock, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where a memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Liberty Residence Activity Fund, 250 Smokerise Drive, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
