Join nurses (LPN, RN, APRN) from across the state of Illinois at our annual lobby day in Springfield. Morning session is followed by lunch (provided) and followed with meetings with legislators. Help influence the state of nursing, health care, and patient safety! 

Lobby Day is for all nurses.

• Your legislators want to meet with you!
• You will receive information, in advance, on issues that impact nursing to help you prepare to speak with your legislators.
• There will be an education session that will include tips on how to speak with your legislators and on what you can expect to happen at the meetings.
• You will be paired with nurses familiar with the process, in small groups.
• Meet Sue Clark and Debbie Broadfield, ANA-Illinois and ISAPN Lobbyists, learn about the latest healthcare policies, the legislative process, and the procedures for effective lobbying.

1.5 hrs CE

CE* is jointly provided by the Illinois Nurses Foundation, ANA-Illinois and ISAPN.
