The weekly news you need to know from The Evansville Day School.
Spotlight of the Week
The 8th grade class visited the CANDLES Holocaust Museum in Terre Haute this week. They met Holocaust survivor, Eva Kor, who was one of the Dr. Mengele twins. Students listened to a 2 hour presentation, where Eva told her story and how she has forgiven Dr. Mengele and the Nazis. Afterward, they toured the museum. This was their culminating activity after a unit on "Man's Inhumanity to Man". They read Elie Wiesel's novel "Night", and then did research on other examples of man's inhumanity.
