Good Morning,

It is so easy to take credit for those things that go well: We really studied for that test, we worked extra hard to make it happen, we invested wisely, and we worked our entire career to get to this point are only a few of the reasons we give.

Why, then, is it so difficult to accept the same responsibility when things don't go as we wish? (I would say planned but that is a subject for another time.) We blame others, we say the test was just too difficult, my boss didn't give me the tools I needed, it is that unpredictable stock market, or whatever excuse fits the occasion.

We all make mistakes. We don't learn from them if we blame others for everything that goes wrong. Better it is to learn from the failures, even if the result of the actions of others, and adapt so that the next time we will do something different.

Success comes from learning and perseverance and not blaming others.
