District News: 
Tentative Deal Reached on Palm Beach County Teacher Salaries
Nearly 7,000 Palm Beach County teachers will receive a 3.5 percent raise, while more than 4,000 will receive a 2.75 percent raise, under a tentative agreement reached Wednesday evening between the School District of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach County Classroom Teachers Association. 

Washington Elementary School's Sandra Edwards Named 2017-2018 Principal of the Year 
For Washington Elementary School Principal Sandra Edwards, accepting the status quo has never been an option. Her dedication and pursuit of excellence paid off in a big way on October 25, as she was named the School District of Palm Beach County’s 2017-2018 Principal of the Year during a ceremony at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium.
