SpotX Moving Headquarters
to Broomfield
BizWest Media reports that SpotXchange Inc., a tech firm that provides a video-advertising platform for Internet publishers and broadcasters, will move its corporate headquarters from Westminster to Broomfield in May.

Arista Announces New Tenants
The Arista Development team introduces SPENGA and Denver Restorative Dentistry as tenants at 8181 Arista Place in the following announcement. Located in Broomfield, Colorado, 8181 Arista Place is an 82,614 square foot office/retail facility.

North Park Tech Center
Starting Development
JP Morgan Chase is planning a 150,000-square-foot, $220 million operations center in Broomfield, one of two in the Denver metro area. Construction on the data center is anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2017
and be complete
by January 2019.

Enhance Broomfield Funds
In an effort to enhance Broomfield and its commercial areas, the City and County is investing in the small business community while enhancing the curb-appeal of our neighborhoods and community as a whole through the Enhance Broomfield program.
Each applicant is eligible for up to a $25,000 investment. Availability of funds is on a first-come, first-served basis, and only complete applications will be accepted. Funds may be made for improvements to existing stand-alone commercial or industrial buildings or centers.

Employment in Metro Denver rose 3.5 percent between October 2015 and 2016, outpacing state and national growth while the unemployment rate remained at lows not posted since the dot-come boom in the early 2000s, according to the December 2016 Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation's Monthly Economic Indicator Report.

Colorado Employment to
Grow by 2.4 % in 2017
Colorado employment will continue to expand in 2017, adding a variety of jobs in almost every sector. The anticipated pace of growth recorded at the end of 2016 and in 2017 will be 2.2 percent and 2.4 percent, respectively. This compares with growth in excess of 3 percent over the prior three years, according to economist Richard Wobbekind of the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business.
