OVER 800 STUDENTS RECEIVE
BAGS OF JOY

AmeriCorps Alumna, Joy Capers, developed Bags of Joy in 2011 when she realized that many of the children at her school site in rural St. Stephens may go without basic needs such as hygiene items over the Christmas break. 

This year, members were able to provide bags to over 800 students, exceeding the requests of 750 bags. 

HEALTHY TRI-COUNTY IS A GO!
On January 31 2017,  Roper St. Francis (RSF), MUSC Health and Trident United Way (TUW) are launching a new initiative called Healthy Tri-County. The initiative is a multi-sector regional initiative to improve health outcomes in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.

RESOLUTION: GIVE SMARTER
A new year has begun, offering the opportunity to take a fresh new look at things. For many of us, it is a time for looking through fresh eyes at others around us and how we can reach out to enrich their lives as well. 
THE PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE REPRESENTS TUW ON STATE AND LOCAL ISSUES - 2017
The Public Policy Committee represents Trident United Way on state and local issues that impact the Tri-County area and the Palmetto State.  Trident United Way  recently expanded the Public Policy Committee to be more reflective of the Tri-County area. 

BERKELEY COUNTY SCHOOLS COMMIT TO SUPPORTING BOLD COMMUNITY CHANGE 
Berkeley County School District students and staff again demonstrate benevolence toward communities and have succeeded in raising $167,040 for Trident United Way.
