King Baby
Mrs. Keogh recommends King Baby by Kate Beaton

In this delightful book a small egg-shaped baby creates his own special brand of chaos. Written and illustrated by web comic artist Kate Beaton, it begins with King Baby receiving the homage of a crowd of admirers. He doles out kisses, gurgles, photo-ops and smiles for he is generous. However he is also a despot in that he demands much of his exhausted parents. After realizing that he must do some things on his own, he becomes a "Big Boy". He worries that his parents will have nothing to live for without their king. But never fear, on the last page, Queen Baby is introduced.

Also recommended is Kate Beaton's first book The Princess and the Pony, a tale of Girl Power.
