Valerie Coleman,
Program Analyst
Valerie Coleman is an urban planner who focuses on aging and accessibiliity and has over 10 years' experience working with community development and housing. She currently works for the San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services as a Program Analyst, providing research and support around long term services and systems in San Francisco as well as managing the Age and Disability Friendly San Francisco effort.

Valerie is coordinating a process regarding the development and implementation of an Age and Disability Friendly Plan for San Francisco. Based on a framework established by the World Health Organization, this effort is a collaborative and comprehensive city-wide, long-range plan to ensure that all folks are able to age safely and affordably within the community of their choice.
