  • Wilton Library is closed December 31 and January 1 for the New Year holiday. We will reopen at 10am on Monday, January 2. We wish you a joyous New Year filled with good health, peace and prosperity!
  • Looking for a family-friendly activity this winter? Our Museum Pass Program offers a fun and enriching experience at more than a dozen area attractions and museums including Mystic Aquarium, The Intrepid, Beardsley Zoo and more. The passes give bearers free or discounted admission and are loaned out for 3 days. They are available on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis at the Circulation Desk. The Museum Pass Program is funded by the Van Raalte Family Foundation in memory of Peter Van Raalte. Wilton Artists: Art Times Six Art Exhibition/Reception
Friday, January 6 @6pm
Six artists who live or work in Wilton will feature their works using various styles, medium and subject matter. The artists are Janel Cassara, Art Gerstein, Susan Kurnit, Lenore Sillery, Russell Sillery and Cindy Sinor. The reception is open to the public. The exhibition runs through Friday, Jan. 27. The majority of the works are available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Wilton Library. More info
Author Talk: Larry Kudlow - JFK and the Reagan Revolution

In their new book JFK and the Reagan Revolution: A Secret History of American Prosperity, CNBC Senior Contributor Larry Kudlow and Brian Domitrovic reveal the surprising source of America's economic growth. In his talk, Kudlow will shed light on a time when bipartisanship was a driving force behind the US' thriving economy. Lawrence Kudlow is CNBC's Senior Contributor. He previously hosted CNBC's primetime show The Kudlow Report and currently hosts a weekly radio show and writes a weekly syndicated column. Co-sponsored by Wilton Library, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Wilton Economic Development Commission. Q&A will follow the talk. WLA/WHS Scholarly Series - Finding Our Place: Evolving American Identity
Five Sundays beginning January through April 2017
In the 10th year of the collaboration between Wilton Library and the Wilton Historical Society, the scholarly lecture series will focus on the global perspective and the United States' place in the world, specifically WWI and its aftermath. The five-part series also will examine art as an expression and maker of place, place determined by work, finding one's place when a technology defines a newer sense of identity, and the United States' identity today and in the future. Registration is strongly encouraged for this very popular series; please register separately for each lecture. Click here for all registration links and more information.
