About the speaker: Dr. Michael Conforti is a Jungian analyst and the Founder and Director of The Assisi Institute, which will present a three-day conference on dreams January 20-22. He has been a faculty member at the C.G. Jung Institute - Boston and the C.G. Jung Foundation of New York. A pioneer in the field of matter-psyche studies, Dr. Conforti is actively investigating the workings of archetypal fields and the relationship between Jungian psychology and the New Sciences.
He is the author of Threshold Experiences: The Archetype of Beginnings (2007) and Field, Form and Fate: Patterns in Mind, Nature and Psyche (2013). Dr. Conforti maintains a private practice in Mystic, CT and consults with individuals and corporations around the world. He provides his insights as a sought-after consultant to businesses, government institutions, and the film industry.

Join this online dream work group, with world-renowned dream worker Machiel Klerk. We will be journeying into the world of dream in 2017, explore these dream worlds and build relationships with the dream beings. We will be doing this in a small and intimate group of 6 - 8 people. This is a great way to really connect with your dreams for a longer period and benefit from that connection.
Dreams provide clues to our vocation, which partner to stay with, and which one to leave. They warn us about physical sickness, and are guiding principles in life. Our night and day become enriched and full of story and adventure when we listen to the wisdom of our dreams.
By connecting to your dreams, you will realize your unique potential. This will lead to the experiences of joy, fulfillment, health, beauty, and an acceptance of life.
Dream teacher Machiel Klerk is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has studied for 20 years Jungian Psychology. He followed a course at the Jung Institute in Zurich, and has a Master's degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Plus he has finished an additional 3 year training in depth psychology and dreamwork with Robert Bosnak. Machiel developed his own style of working with dreams called Dream Dialogue. He is also a gifted African diviner. He has published articles, gives workshops and lectures in Europe, Africa and North America. Machiel is also the founding president of the Jung Society of Utah and Jung Platform.

Sparking Creative Intelligence
Learn how to access the Creative Imagination, Source of Originality and Innovation
The objective of this course is to train therapists, coaches, other professionals and interested individuals in the Embodied Imagination® method for creative process. This is the original method for working with dreams, memories and the creative imagination Robert Bosnak has pioneered since the 1970s.
How is it that some people break the bounds of habitual thinking to contribute work of astonishing creativity and originality? As therapists, coaches and other interested individuals, how do we help clients or ourselves overcome stale, programmed behaviors by accessing the creative imagination needed to inspire and transform their lives?
Thisyear-long course teaches participants how to get in touch with the deep currents of creative intelligence in its many imaginal forms. You will learn to access the living intelligence of autonomous, creative ideas and to manifest them in the world. You will also learn to teach this methodology to clients whose lives will benefit so profoundly by manifesting ideas that are fundamentally new - including artists, scientists, inventors and business people.
Embodied Imagination® gives each person access to creative sources existing far beyond our normal waking consciousness and capacity for learning. Each participant is strongly encouraged to bring creative projects in their fields on which they wish to work during the training - as well as ways to empower the creative imagination in your work with clients.
Structure
The course is structured around 3 three-day training weekends supported by an intensive and rigorous program to support a home-based practice. This includes an online webinar classes and supervisions led by Robert Bosnak each month in which there is no training weekend. Participants will be matched with classmates in dyads to practice with one another via Internet every week between the weekend workshops. There will be suggested readings before and between the webinars workshops.
Weekend 1: Engaging the Creative Imagination
Topics:
In this first weekend you will learn the basics of the dreaming-based Embodied Imagination® method, and after this weekend you will be ready to practice this with your fellow participants. Our work begins by learning to let imagination speak directly in a simple process of embodying the creative imagination. The weekend also will introduce theoretical concepts that support this approach:
- The history of ideas as living presences
- History of imagination as reality
- Dream incubation in antiquity, focus on Asclepian medical imagination
- The oracular imagination with a focus on the I Ching
- Basic principles and history of the Embodied Imagination® method. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embodied_imagination
- Practical implications of this theoretical frame in order to develop skills based on these principles.
Weekend 2: Animating the Original Creative Imagination
Topics:
You will learn how the creative imagination animates a range of "intelligences" essential for any form of creativity, be it in the healing arts, science, the arts or business. Creativity is in the alchemical spark said to bring matter to life, and this animation is the origin of creativity. The intensive will include practical exercises in dyads to become aware of simultaneous multiple intelligences existing beyond mental habits and how this work relates to theories.
- C.G Jung's and James Hillman's work on Analytical and Archetypal Psychology with a special focus on freeing live sparks of inspiration from their literal settings.
- Alchemical psychology as a basis for the manifestation of living ideas
- The practice of mimesis as derived from theater to shift identification away from habitual consciousness
Weekend 3: The Intelligent Body
Topics: We continue to deepen the Embodied Imagination® methodology making it possible to access the creative imagination in yourself and with clients. In addition, we relate these concepts to current neuroscientific findings with special focus on the neuroscience of memory.
- Exploration of embodied flashback memory
- Exercises to enhance embodied awareness
- The uses of embodied awareness to access creative ideas
- During each seminar there will be ample time for discussion
The instructor of this course, Robert Bosnak
, is an internationally noted Jungian psychoanalyst with 45 years of experience. He pioneered the Embodied Imagination® (EI) method that is being used worldwide. He has now extended this approach to accessing the creative imagination in science, business and the arts. At M.I.T. the Embodied Imagination® method was developed for actors and those in the arts and developed further at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. At Stanford University it was "workshopped" for engineers. And it has been used by therapists and physicians in medical contexts. The Embodied Imagination® method has also has been applied to business problems with startling results. Robert Bosnak is the author of multiple books, including the classic Little Course in Dreams appearing in 12 languages. He is past president of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and is a novelist whose novels have been published in multiple languages. He teaches alchemical psychology online at the Jung Platform.

If you apply and pay in full before February 28th, it is only $3900.
