This Sunday's Special Music
This Sunday we celebrate Saint Paul's Day. 16 years ago, in commemoration of our parish's 250th birthday, Leslie Lambert commissioned Florida composer Peter Mathews to set to music the text of "The Circle of Days," a beautiful children's book written by Reeve Lindbergh, daughter of aviator Charles Lindbergh. Both Ms. Lindbergh and Peter Mathews came to Saint Paul's for a weekend of celebration which included Dr. Mathews conducting the Canterbury Choir in the premiere of the anthem and Ms. Lindbergh doing a book signing in Tyler Hall. The weather that weekend was frightful-snow and ice-but more than 200 people braved the elements to meet Reeve Lindbergh, a Vermont native (she was VERY impressed with the turnout). This Sunday the Canterbury Choir will sing "The Circle of Days" at the end of the communion. There could be few more appropriate ways to celebrate our life at Saint Paul's Church.
EYC will meet at the Annual Brunch

Saint Paul's EYC (Episcopal Youth Community grades 6-12) will attend the annual meeting following Sunday's service and enjoy brunch together. No EYC Sunday night.

Get READY! Get SET! BE QUIET!?

If the idea of a morning of total silence sounds appealing; please join the Daughters of the King on Saturday, February 4,  9:30 - 12:30.  We'll gather in Tyler Hall and get an overview of the morning.   Fr. Muir will guide us with readings followed by intervals of quiet.  During each interval, you may go anywhere on the church campus to reflect, pray, meditate, journal, contemplate...all while keeping completely quiet.
You'll need to bring a brown bag lunch and your own "tools" used for prayer or meditation such as your bible, BCP, journal, hammock, comfy outdoor chair...whatever you'd like, except your voice!  All are welcome but please let us know if you'd like to join us by contacting Suzanne Pursley-Crotteau  or calling Suzanne at 706-359-4480 before February 1 .
