Well, Mummas is at it again. It's dress-up time of the year. If I'm not an Elf, I'm a Reindeer (luckily, I couldn't find that picture), the main man Santa himself or I have a wreath around my neck. Really, the nerve! How come Daddas doesn't have to dress up like that too? All he has to do is wear a Santa hat on Christmas morning (we all have to wear the Santa hat on Christmas morning; it's Mummas tradition). At least once the family pics are done, we get to take it all off and get down to the presents. Yeah!! Mummas and Daddas always let me go first. I get lots of presents from Santa since I'm such a GOOD BOY but for some reason I'm not allowed to open them all at once. Mummas and Daddas usually hide some in the cupboard and give them to me later. Which I guess is okay because this way at least my Christmas last for the whole month of January too! Yippee.
In honor of Christmas, I have a song I'd like to sing for you (I've been practicing all year), it goes like this:
Have a holly jolly Christmas
It's the best time of the year
Have some stew and bone broth too
before HoHo appears
Have a holly jolly Christmas
And when you bark at the door
Have no fear, it's Santa's elf with treats for all to eat
Oh ho, the mistletoe
hung where you can see
Lick someone's face for me
Before Daddas sees!
Have a holly jolly Christmas
and in case you didn't hear
Oh by golly, I'll be jolly
with my CARU treats this year!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
