Fr. Nathan Cromly Wednesday Night

Wednesday night Garces will host a special presentation to our parents by Fr. Nathan Cromly.  Many of you may wonder why Garces opted to bring in Fr. Nathan to speak to our students, faculty and our parents.  We did so because he has a powerful message that we want him to share. Some people have the ability to move an audience and he is one of those people.  While the message many not be new, it surely will be heard in a new way by everyone in attendance.  We hope it will be an inspiring evening and will offer our parents a fresh look at keeping Christ present in their lives and the lives of their children. Fr. Nathan is an in-demand speaker and we are very fortunate that he is able to fly out and join us for two days.  We hope you will take advantage of hearing from an amazing and inspiring man of God.

Message from
Kim Harper
Director of Admissions

Dear Parents -

As we prepare to welcome the Class of 2021, I invite our Garces community to share with their friends and family; why Garces? Simply put, There is No Mistaking a Garces Student.

Garces Memorial High School. A signature emphasis on compassion, faith, and justice. Success at Garces is not defined by being the best in the world - it's about being the best for the world. That is why service is fundamental to the Garces experience. A Garces student benefits from the strong foundations in education, service, leadership and character development that only a Catholic school can provide. Here students learn that the highest purpose of an education is to serve others. They volunteer at school, in their community, and at their parish. They consider how the choices we make as a society affect the most vulnerable. Students leave Garces with an abiding compassion, a strong connection to their spiritual selves and a contagious enthusiasm for making the world a better place.

Garces Memorial High School. A culture that asks a student to step up. Our communities, corporations, and governments are crying out for innovative, ethical leaders with a global vision and an unshakable commitment to the common good. At Garces, we treat every student as an emerging leader. We cultivate leadership and character throughout our curriculum and extra-curricular activities. We give every student the opportunity to practice leadership in a variety of settings - the classroom, on the playing field, on stage, and in dozens of student-led clubs and activities. When students leave Garces, they are keenly aware of their role in defining the future, equipped with skills, confidence, and their faith leading the way.

Garces Memorial High School. Academic excellence above all. Garces students develop an intellectual life, a talent for critical thinking and passion for learning that sustains them through college and well beyond. All students receive individualized college counseling based on their skills, personality, and goals.
We are currently accepting applications for the Class of 2021.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about Garces and how to enroll, please contact me immediately at 661-327-2578 or [email protected]. We are hosting a Winter Open House this Sunday, January 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. We welcome all who would like to provide their child with the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a safe and compassionate environment. If you would like to schedule a Shadow Visit and have your student experience a day in the life of a Ram, I can help with that as well.

Go Rams!!!
