United Way of Hampshire County engages and inspires the people, employers and organizations of Hampshire County to give, advocate, and volunteer on behalf of our community. Our vision is that all individuals and families have the tools and resources to reach their full potential through education, economic security and wellness. And when our community is strong, we all benefit.
Economic Security Funding Cycle

Thanks to your generous support, UWHC will invest close to $1 million in our Economic Security Program Area. Economic Security grants represent one of the three areas in which we invest resources in community initiatives that address local needs and builds lasting change. Grant resources will support diverse, inclusive and collaborative initiatives that improve financial wellness for people in Hampshire County. Three-year funding awards will range from $10,000 to $45,000 per year.


Rising to the Challenge

When Patrick Goggins offered to challenge the members of our Leaders' Circle to give more, we didn't know what to expect. But six months later, thanks to Pat and Goggins Real Estate, we have raised well over $10,000 in increased gifts from this dedicated group! Gifts of All Sizes Make a Difference

Each year 40% of our total giving comes from people who give between $1 - $4 per paycheck. That comes to about half a million dollars! Even if your workplace doesn't offer payroll deduction you can still make a recurring gift through our website and make a difference every week or every month. #feelgoodfriday
