 On Wednesday, September 6, 2017, we will host our annual Lake Forest High School Parent Open House. This is a great opportunity for you to meet our exceptional Faculty and Staff.
All parents will receive an email this week with their student's schedule for Open House.
Freshman Parent Meet and Greet - 6-6:30 p.m.
Our doors open at 6:00 p.m. Counselors will host a Freshman Parent Only Meet and Greet from
6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. All freshman parents/guardians are invited to spend a little time with their child's counselor at the following designated locations.
Early Bird PE Classes - 6:50 p.m.
Early Bird PE classes (only) will meet promptly at 6:50 p.m. at the location listed in your student's schedule.
First Period Classes - 7:05 p.m.
Your student's 1st period class will begin at 7:05 p.m. and each subsequent class will last 10 minutes (view class schedule). You will meet your student's teacher, hear a general overview of course content, learning objectives, goals, and expectations. After each class, you will have 5 minutes to find your student's next class.

Team Fitness, Integrated Wellness and

Parents
: During your child's scheduled Lunch, Study Hall, or Athletic Study Hall please visit the Commons and Student Dining Room for information on school sponsored clubs, activities, service opportunities, the LFHS Foundation, APT, Applause, Pals, and Boosters. Also, feel free to visit our
Library/Media Center (Room 100).
The Booster Store will be open all evening. It is located by the Main Entrance.
Stop in the
Makerspace (Room 50)
to see where students build prototypes, explore questions, share resources and knowledge, and work collaboratively using cutting edge technology.
Counselors
will be located in the hallway by their offices
(Room 102)
.
Social Workers
and
School Psychologists
will have a table in the
Student Cafeteria
and welcome you to stop by during Lunch or Study Hall. Representatives from
Lake County Tech Campus
will be in the
Commons.
We will also have a
Schoology
information table in the Commons. Feel free to stop by and learn more about the learning management system.
A member of the
Technology Department
will be available in the
Library
to help you setup or re-establish access to the
PowerSchool Parent Portal
and
Website Accounts.
You can view current and quarter grades on PowerSchool. Semester grades will be mailed home.
Parking/Shuttle Buses
Due to the fact that parking on campus is extremely limited, I would encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle buses from Lake Forest Market Square Train Station and the Lake Bluff Train Station. Buses will run continuously starting at 5:30 p.m. and will end at 9:30 p.m.
