This Week in Sunday School
...we will continue our Feeding 5000 theme!
We are going to spend time looking at that miraculous day when Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fish and fed five thousand people. We will set up our own plan to feed thousands. Watch for our canned food drive as we learn what we can do to help others.
Calling Parents and Volunteers! Can you sing, dance, laugh, and learn? Join us downstairs for the whole hour as a Teacher or Shepherd or for just 15 minutes as a Set-Up Helper, Greeter, Prize Counter Helper and Clean-Up Helper!
Join us downstairs for Sunday School and spend time with our amazing kids! Helping with set-up, greeting, helping with the prize counter and helping clean-up are simple, quick ways to improve our ministry. These also give you a chance to welcome new families to our church! You can also help teach our children as a Teacher or Shepherd.
Check out the current Sign-Up Genius:
Sprouts Parents Parents of Preschool and PreK Kids!
The Amazing Miss Tanya is back teaching our Sprouts class, so we will need parents to help out! Tanya has some great games, activities and lessons planned. She can always use extra help. Take a look at your schedule and see where you can volunteer. Check out the current Sign-up Genius.
Youth Sunday Mornings and Evenings

This Sunday night for Youth group, we are going to have a pizza party! Make sure to bring $5.00. We are just going to hang out and play games so make sure to bring a friend. It'll be at the usual time of 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

CUC MISSIONS
Love INC Transformational Ministry--Stepping Forward in Mentoring
It is a new year and time to engage in something new. Won't you please consider being a mentor? Reach out to someone in need by coming along side and guiding them through the steps which can lead to greater self sufficiency. Stepping Forward is a mentoring program which was established between Columbine and Love INC to help people in our community who are struggling in poverty to keep their daily lives together. Love INC is expanding this program and taking it to a new level with emphasis on moving toward self sufficiency and healthier relationships; long term instead of just meeting immediate and on-going crises. This will be a more comprehensive program offered on a campus basis one night a week in a community church. Life skill classes, as well as individual mentoring, both short term and long term with varied goals will be included as well as child care, a hot meal for families, and incentives based on needs. A class for new mentors is projected for late January into February. In addition to mentors, many volunteers in all capacities and of all talents are needed to support this program. Whatever your talents, offer them to God and community to help transform a life. Sign up at the Welcome Spot for more information, or call Marni Wetzel (303) 927-7863,or Carl Cleveland at Love INC at Carl@loveinclittleton.org.
Coffee Mission Sales
We will be selling coffee from Cafe Justo, a Presbyterian USA supported mission to build a self-sustaining coffee cooperative in Mexico. Please come visit us between services every second Sunday of the month. We have regular and dark roast for $13.00 per pound, and smaller sample sizes for $3.50. Thanks for supporting this great cause while enjoying a cup of coffee!
