Welcome to 2017! It's that time of year where we set new goals and make some resolutions, right? Well, have I got a worthy goal for all of the Wildcat community!   Nashua Catholic has set an enrollment goal of 180 students for next year. We are calling this "The Complete 180" and it will not be complete without your help! How can you help? Well, how great would the results be if every family resolved to tell at least 2 other non-NC families about our terrific school? Please consider talking to work colleagues, neighbors, relatives and friends about the many strengths of having their students attend Nashua Catholic. Invite these families to our NC Open House on February 2.This is the best time for families to place a student application with NC because they can apply for parish support which will significantly subsidize tuition cost. Parish support forms are due by March 1st, so the time to witness for Nashua Catholic is now! Together, I know this community can exceed this goal. I welcome any and all additional support, just send me an email, phone me, or meet with me, whatever fits your schedule. Let's put our school motto in motion with the Complete 180 Goal: To believe, to achieve, to inspire!

Wishing you a blessed 2017,

Mrs. McFadden

Teacher of the Year Awards

The successes of our Catholic schools and their students would not be possible without the selfless support of our committed educators, administrators, clergy, and lay partners in the community.  This year, we are holding our first annual Recognizing Excellence Awards Gala  at The Grappone Center in Concord on  June 22, 2017 .  We hope you will consider joining us at this exciting event when we will officially honor our School Leader of the Year, Clergy Member of the Year, Community Partner of the Year and most especially our Teacher of the Year.  Please read the attached award descriptions and use the links below to nominate someone you think deserves to receive this special recognition.  The deadline to submit your nomination is  March 17, 2017 .   If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Catholic Schools Office at 663-0140.  Thank you.
Car Pool Courtesy and Safety

officer_ticket_car.jpg Parents, we ask for your cooperation in the carpool dismissal procedure at the end of the school day. Please know that parking on Webster and waiting for your student(s) is not acceptable. This street is reserved for sport buses and for parents who must come into the building to pick up their child for pressing appointments outside Nashua Catholic. We have also noticed some drivers turning from Webster onto Bartlett and "cutting" the line. Let's all work together and follow the rules that are put in place to make your students as safe as possible. Thank You!

Lunchtime Help Needed

A little help goes a long way!  This is so true at lunchtime when our hungry students are eager to eat.  Lately,  we have been short on volunteers for lunch.  If you are able to help even once or twice a month, it makes a great difference.   Here is a short form for lunch volunteers to start the process.

NC loves volunteers!  Thank you!

Athletics - Wildcat Update
It is officially the New Year, and 2017 holds a lot of promise for our Wildcat athletes. Mid-way through our winter athletic season, all of our teams are in full swing. Boys' and girls' basketball teams are making their final pushes to clinch a position in the Tri-County Playoffs. With only 6 regular season games remaining, it is down to the wire.

Nashua Catholic wrestling is gearing up for the second half of their meet season. Only four meets separate our wrestlers from the big Tri-County Championship tournament on January 29th. Tough practices and good performances in the coming meets will have our wrestlers poised for success as the tournament nears.

Cheerleading is looking to recuperate from some tough injuries as they rehearse their routines a few last times before their competition season gets underway. All the tumbling, stunts, and dance portions of the routine will come together to hopefully earn our Wildcat cheerleaders a place on the podium come February 10, at the Tri-County Competition held at the Sanborn High School.

Go, Wildcats!
