English Opera Icon Rosalind Plowright, OBE Joins PSN18 Faculty!

Classical Movements is pleased to announce that internationally celebrated soprano Rosalind Plowright , OBE will join the faculty of our 2018 Prague Summer Nights: Young Artists Music Festival . Miss Plowright is a 40-year veteran of the world's leading opera houses, having mastered many high-profile roles: Medée , Alceste , Norma , etc. Apropos, this summer, the spinto soprano will work with participants on dramatic interpretation and audition techniques.

Meet Your PSN18 Vocal Coaches:
Scott Rednour serves on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music. Collaborating with leading recital artists in New York, he's taught and coached at Juilliard, Chautauqua, Spokane Opera, Skyline Opera and American Opera Projects. 
Justina Lee serves on the faculty at the University of Maryland. Principal coach of Maryland Opera Studio, she's coached for the Met, Washington National Opera, Seattle Opera, as well as Glimmerglass, Wolf Trap and Castleton.
Professor at the University of Michigan, Dr. Timothy Cheek is Music Director of UM's Opera Workshop. A Czech specialist, he's authored books on Dvořák’s  Rusalka , Smetana’s  Bartered Bride , Janáček’s libretti, as well as lyric diction and vocal repertoire.
Professor at the Prague State Conservatory and Academy of Music, Dr. Jelena Nosková has been lead coach at the Czech National Theater for the past 25 years. She returns to PSN for her third summer, working with students as a vocal clinician in Prague and Tábor.
