The view from my desk
First let me say thank you to all our Sponsors for the 2017 year.

Now is the time of year to nominate the business of the year, the business person of the year and the small business of the year. If you have anyone you would like to nominate, please submit the name and why you believe they should be considered.

Annual Awards Dinner
1920's themed event
Come dressed in your best 1920's attire and have your picture taken on site. Come dance to the roaring 20's sounds prepared for us by our own DJ right here in Canal Winchester! We will have a cash bar with mint juleps and more! Committee will be forming to select our 2016 Award Winners. Invitations will be sent out. I expect the cost to be similar to last year at around $50 a person.

If you are up-to-date with your membership dues since September of 2016, you will be getting a 5 inch static cling to put in your window showing you are a chamber member in good standing!
January 11 Chamber Luncheon
The chamber invites you to join us January 11, for networking and lunch at the Canal Winchester Community Center.
Starts with networking at 11:30 and usually concludes at 1:00 pm

Community Expert Series
6:00 to 8:00 pm Community Center
This series will be advertised on our Facebook page and to all of our members, and the dates will be published in the Community Calendar, which is delivered to 12,000 households a year.
Speakers must be a current member of the Chamber, and in good standing. In 2016, there are three topics, and in 2017 there will be 9 topics. All suggestions for topics are welcome, although the Chamber will have the final say on what topics will be chosen. We will endeavor to have a different topic each month so as to not repeat subjects.
If you are interested in speaking on a subject, please email or contact the Chamber office. The cost of speaking and providing handouts will be $200. Speakers will be chosen on a first come basis. If you have any questions, or are interested in speaking, please call Rebecca at 614-837-1556.

Ad space is available monthly or in an ongoing basis for the SE Messenger. We have a Chamber page that is supported by YOUR ads. You actually get $20 off the ad space from normal rates.
We have room for eight 2x3 ads and two larger 1 3/4 x 3 3/4.
We have some companies choosing to continue with their ads! There is still space for you! This is an economical way to keep your logo and name out there and the SE Messenger is seen by thousands of people.
