HAPPY NEW YEAR

As the first days of the new year are upon us, we take the opportunity to review what has passed over the last 12 months and what is to come.  I am sure like me, 2016 was a very busy year for you, if not a tumultuous one too.  Looking back, I am proud to have curated shows in London and New York, curated an auction in Beirut, and attended numerous exhibitions and art fairs around the world.

This year, I am planning to curate a number of exhibitions and fairs, the first of which is an exhibition for four Iranian artists at the Gerald Moore Gallery in L ondon in February, which coincides with an exhibition on Matisse at the gallery.  More details to follow soon.

Our Top Events this month, as usual, feature a wide range of exhibitions focusing on the Middle East and we are pleased to announce that works by JRFA artists Hojat Amani and Mahmood Sabzi are included in the exhibition at the University of Connecticut

The New Year is always a time for retrospection and hope and we have therefore put together a small selection of highlights from 2016 together with summaries of what lies in store for 2017.

We wish you and your family a very happy 2017 from all at JRFA
