A New CDS Website
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Partners,

We are pleased to also announce to you our new Center for Digital Strategies website!  Last year, our team reflected on our digital presence and spent time on how we could more meaningfully display the work we do here at the Tuck School of Business, augmented and spurred on by the great insights you, our colleagues and partners, bring to us.

Our goal was to create a modern, clean website, through which our content would be more easily accessed, our mission more clearly understood, and the talent of our network more openly shown. To this end, we settled on five overall expertise buckets:

  • Enterprise Transformation
  • Technology & Innovation
  • Digital Business Models
  • Information Security & Risk
  • Digital & Society

We also brought the people and organizations we work with to the forefront, and exposed the different types of content we have both by topics, by type of content and by relation to each other.

We hope we've succeeded in this, and welcome your feedback and thoughts! Please share your thoughts...

Best wishes and thanks,

Digital Customers: The Changing Dynamics of Business

Our flagship speaker series provides MBA candidates and the Tuck and Dartmouth communities with insights into how changes in technology affect individuals, impact enterprises and reshape industries. This academic year the series explores the growing role of the customer in a digital world, through events including panel discussions with industry leaders, presentations, and small-group meetings with executives. The program was made possible by a generous donation from Glenn Britt T'72, former Chairman, President & CEO of Time Warner Cable, and continues to be supported by his wife, Barbara Britt, for which we are grateful.

2017 Roundtables

We have several Roundtable on Digital Strategies events coming up this year.   Membership in the Roundtable on Digital Strategies  delivers an ongoing series of business dialogues at which CIOs and top-level executives of corporations, mainly from Europe and the Americas share insights into the enabling role of digital/information technology in meeting current business challenges. In focused discussions that cut across organizations and industries, participants from noncompeting member corporations examine meaningful business issues and topical challenges that they have in common.

Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional

Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional program (BESP) is an executive education program designed specifically for heads of information security (CISOs) of the Global 1000, their direct reports, and other senior information security managers who interact with colleagues across the enterprise. The program will enhance the leadership, financial, and communication skills of participants, so that they may engage more effectively with other business leaders throughout their organizations.  This will be the seventh offering of the program, during the first week of May 2017.
