Scozzie Squash - learn, improve, win - the answer since 2011!
Hi, Everyone.

Fall is approaching, the days are getting a little shorter and cooler and our college freshmen have started to depart.  This week it's Pallavi off to Columbia to play for the Lady Lions and Maximo Moyer off to Brown to play for Coach LeGassick's Bears.  Good luck to two of our favorites, original Scozzies, lovely players but more importantly fantastic people.  We'll miss them at training and around the club!

"Planning Season" has only one week left - so if you've yet to join the Academy for Phase 1 - now is the time.  It's important to note that you do not have to be taking private lessons with a Scozzie coach to be in the Academy.  If you are, or want to be in Scozzie Squads and don't have a Scozzie coach you can reply to this email and Lyall or I will be happy to make time to talk to you about your child's development.

On that note... if you haven't yet spoken with coaches about lessons, then you can contact the respective professionals directly or simply respond to this email.  Similarly with regards to the Scozzie Academy Select (SAS), now is the time to book otherwise you may come to Labor Day and find places taken.

Details of the summer's final gold are below but please remember that we are still in the summer, so there is a small fee associated with coaching.  I would ask that all families confirm if they would like coaching by Wednesday evening so I can make sure we have enough coaches making the trek north!  For that reason please be aware that we can't accommodate players who wish to sign up for coaching "on the day" - except in exceptional circumstances.

Three things to know:
1.  Our Labor Day Squad run 10:00am-11:30am.  As is our holiday tradition, bring a non-Scozzie friend along for free!
2.  Our new phase kicks off September 5 and the schedule is here
3.   We have a new FAST TRACK program targeted at U11's and designed to bridge the gap between our elementary program and Scozzie, check out the details below.

Looking forward to a huuuuge Scozzie season coming up!  Feel free to email me by return if you'd like anything clarified before the big time kicks off!

Scozzie on Insta!

Although Scozzie is on all Social Media, we really love our Insta the most.  For those of you who aren't really "into" Insta, one of the big additions of late is the Insta Story.  Below is a quick explanation of Insta Stories from the horses mouth:

"Stories from people you follow will appear in a row at the top of Feed. If someone has shared a story you haven't seen yet, you'll see a colorful ring around their profile picture. To see someone's story, tap their profile picture at the top of Feed, on their profile or next to a post they've shared in Feed.
When you view stories from the top of your Feed, they automatically scroll from one person's to the next. You can tap the screen to skip to the next photo or video, or swipe right or left to skip between people's stories. Swipe down on the screen or tap x in the top right to exit someone's story and return to Feed."
