Dear Saint Rose Families,

Today was our Kindergarten Preview Day. It offered our parents and prospective kindergarten students a chance to learn a bit more about their future classroom.   All of our students will have this same  opportunity on Move Up Day on Monday, January 30.  They will spend  time in the classroom of the next grade level.

Our kindergarten is currently full for next year and we have families on
a waiting list.  We anticipate that some of our other grades will have  a wait list as well.  Registration for the general public begins on  Monday, January 30.  Please reach out to us if you have any questions  about this process or the next school year for your child.

Sincerely,

Dr. Bryon Borgelt
Principal

Get your Box Tops ready!

We will be having another Box Top Contest beginning next week.  Watch your brown envelope for details.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Mrs. Sankowski and our middle school students who participated in the Scholastic Poetry Contest. Molly Dynda is deserving of a special mention for receiving an honorable mention and three Gold Key Awards!  The judges reviewed 1,293 writing pieces and awarded 137 Gold Keys, 188 Silver Keys and 153 Honorable Mentions.

Additionally, last weekend, a select group of students participated in Power of the Pen. This was Saint Rose School's first time to participate in Power of the Pen for some years. It was a great learning experience for our team as they wrote and competed against some of the best students in the region.
Molly also earned 11th place at Power of the Pen and Best of Round, meaning her story for one round was selected as the best story at our district competition.

Congratulations to Molly, Mrs. Sankowski and all of our Saint Rose students who participated.

Nominate a Teacher!

Please take a moment to nominate a Saint Rose teacher that made a difference for you child.  Each year the Golden Apple award is presented to a select group of teachers from the Diocese. The teachers must be nominated by a parent, student or fellow teacher.  They must be a practicing Catholic, and have taught full time for at least three years at Saint Rose.  Ms. Lewandowski was nominated by a parent two years ago and was selected by the Diocese as a recipient. This a tremendous honor for our teachers.
