Our Lady of Fatima Fourth Apparition Centennial Celebration
Saturday, August 19

Holy Rosary Church hosts a celebration in honor of the Centennial celebration for Our Lady of Fatima's Fourth Apparition. The celebration begins at 7:30 AM with the Rosary followed by Mass at 8:00 AM. A hot breakfast from 9:00 to 10:00 AM will be provided as well as a spiritual address by Fr. Amancio Rodrigues. Sunday, August 27, Our Lady of Fatima 100th Year Celebration, 2:00-3:15 PM

Join the Fatima Prayer group for a blessing and presentation at Our Lady of the Lake in the Parish Hall. A one-hour illustrated presentation will portray the origins of Fatima, the events leading us to the first apparition of Our Lady of Fatima (May 13, 1917). The presentation will include a depiction of each apparition and concluded with the 6th (October 14, 1917), "The Miracle of the Sun."

This Portland area Catholic women's conference Fiat: Making Mary’s Yes Our Own is a unique, day-long event which will showcase a myriad of women's programs and invite you to explore how they can transform women's ministries at your parish or in your home. Keynote speaker Sonja Corbitt, author of Fearless and Unleashed, a “bible study Evangelista” will lead us in discussions of how you can equip yourself to lead women in deeper discipleship with their Catholic faith.

Over 2,300 pounds of food has been collected for the OLL Knights of Columbus “ All American Summer Food Drive.” If you are wondering what is still needed for donations, other parishes have requested Breakfast Cereal and Paper Products.

The Food Drive concludes at the  Summer’s End Festival on Sunday, September 10.  Click here for more information . If everyone brings two  cans of food to Mass in the next weeks, we will hit our goal of 5,000 pounds!
