Get Ready for the Quarterly MBUFA Meeting in Salem, Oregon!
Quarterly Meeting
On September 19, MBUFA will hold a Quarterly Meeting in Salem, Oregon in conjunction with the RUC Forum being held from September 18 - September 20 at the Salem Convention Center. Registration for the RUC Forum is still available at: www.rucforum2017.org.

The meeting will be held at the Salem Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Topics will include updates on the STSFA Grants, new legislation being considered on the issue of road charging, an update on the New Zealand Study Tour, and potential new pilots now being considered in the United States. At 11 a.m. the meeting will rejoin the RUC Forum for a session on the Administrative Functions of the MyOreGO program.

Following lunch, MBUFA Members will travel to Portland, Oregon for a special joint meeting with RUC West Members from 3:30 - 5 p.m. with a reception following for all attendees from 5 - 6 p.m.

  • Morning:
    8 - 11 a.m. - RUC Forum (Salem)
  • Afternoon:
    3:30 - 5 p.m. - Meeting with RUC West (Portland)
    5 - 6 p.m. - Reception (Portland)
MBUFA Members will be receiving specific location information for all meetings next week.

emovis selected for Washington Road Usage Charge Project

emovis has been selected to provide services in the Washington State Road Usage Charge (RUC) Pilot Project. 

emovis will implement a cloud hosted back office and provide On-Board Diagnostic System Unit (OBD-II) and App technology to record road users' mileage and collect their Road Usage Charge. For some users, this will involve collection of real charges in a complete end to end road charging chain.

ClearRoad to join emovis' Consortium for the Washington State Pilot

ClearRoad is joining the emovis consortium for the Washington State pilot and will implement a transaction processing platform tailored to RUC. The platform will compute road charge from both the odometer reading apps and ODB-II devices. It will also play a role in enabling interoperability with Washington State neighbors.
