Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday Season. We are now in the middle of January which is typically one of the slowest times for the real estate market. However, as anticipated, the Spring market seems to have already started. There is still a lack of inventory and anxious buyers waiting for new listings to come on the market. This bodes well for a busy Winter and Spring market. I would recommend that you aim to get your house on the market sooner rather than later if you are planning to sell this Spring. You would not want to miss the opportunity to take advantage of the pent up demand. There are also still predictions of rising interest rates which will reduce the amount of buyers can spend on a house. Rates have already risen but are still historically quite low so put your house on the market and let buyers take advantage!
