"Duct Leakage, 4 CFM/100 sq ft, and How to Meet or Exceed Code"

The allowable duct leakage rate in the IECC/IRC changes from 12 cf. per 100 sq ft. of conditioned space under the 2009 energy code to 4 cf. per 100 sq ft in the 2015 energy code. This is very significant, but doable, change, if the proper materials and techniques are applied.
This webinar will provide builders, building officials and contractors the information on best practices for installing and sealing ducts, plenums, boots and other components of an HVAC duct system, the materials used for best results, and the most appropriate uses of these sealing materials.
This session will provide attendees with the information they need to visually identify a quality installation and understand the processes and materials that will deliver a code compliant home in terms of duct leakage. Presented by Tempo Mechanical Services.
