Principal's Snapshots
|
Our Highlander Chorus put on an excellent performance on Monday at our Barnes and Noble Night Fundraiser. Thank you also to all those that were able to attend. It was a great turn out!
Next time you are in the office please be sure to see this collaborative painting by students in Mrs. Peay's Art Production class. What an awesome composition! In Scotland, these stag are known as the "Monarchs of the Glenn" and are considered good luck if you see one.
Mrs. O'Day's STEM I class Skyped with an embalmer/mortician in Arizona, then followed it up with a visit from a forensic scientist from the OC Sheriff's department.

Volunteer Hours Needed - Due December 15th
|
Thank you for everyone's hard work this year! It is that time of year to report your volunteer hours you have accumulated so far this school year. Each year, the Hewes PTA is required to report volunteer hours that are completed by our school community. Volunteer hours are collected and reported to maintain the PTA's federal tax exemption status. These hours are then submitted annually to the 4th District PTA.
Please contact Jenny Oldham (
[email protected]
) with the amount of hours you have volunteered at Hewes this school year. Please do not include the hours if you signed in on the volunteer sheets in the office. She will be calculating these hours as well. She will also be asking again for hours later in the school year.
