NORTHVIEW GOLF ACADEMY CAPTURES 2016 PRO-ASSISTANT CHAMPIONSHIP
In a Championship round that went down to the wire on Tuesday, it was Matt Palsenbarg and John Shin of Northview Golf Academy that eventually captured the PGA of BC Pro-Assistant title on the second playoff hole, ending the tie at 128 (-16) against Morningstar Golf Club's Kevin Oates and Darren Griff.

The pair sat two back of the lead at 66 at the end of Monday's first round, as The Okanagan Golf Club's Rick Crowson and Clay Stothers made a run at defending the 2015 Pro-Assistant title with an opening 64 in the best ball format. The defending champions finished tied for seventh place.

REGISTRATION FOR PRO-JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP CLOSES TOMORROW
Taking place July 18, 2016 at Morgan Creek Golf Course, facilities interested in playing in the PGA of BC Pro-Junior Championship presented by PING are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. 

Registration for the event is now being offered on a first come, first served basis, including facilities wanting to bring along more than one team. Click here to register as soon as possible, registration closes tomorrow (Friday, July 8) at 4 PM.
